Mythe Absinthe Traditional is distilled with aniseed, badiane, vervain, hyssop, and, of course, wormwood. Starting at an attractive olive green color, it slowly louches to an opaque, opalescent pastel. The blend of herbs creates a full, layered bouquet that introduces a balanced palate. The distinctive bitterness of the wormwood makes its presence known, but doesn't overwhelm the other botanicals. A creamy lemon character appears on the finish.
Newly renovated as a French Bistro, Carmon's features the cuisine of Brittany, the northwestern region of France. Please take a moment to peruse our menu. In addition to our French Cidres, wines and aperitifs, we offer a full bar. WE ALSO NOW FEATURE "Mythe", the authentic Absinthe from France. "Mythe" is distilled in accordance to the strictest traditions, including macerated wormwood, spirits and European herbs.
